Metro Theater Company (MTC) is an award-winning professional theater for youth and family audiences with extensive education and community programs.

We are the only professional theater exclusively for young people in St. Louis with national and international acclaim, providing a platform to inspire shared reflection, empower youth and foster stronger communities. MTC presents stories that resonate with young people in the St. Louis region: recent programming has explored bullying, racism, privilege, female empowerment, environmental protection, and overcoming trauma. Since 1973, MTC has served over 2 million young people and audiences of all ages.
