Ornua Nutrition Ingredients is a leading supplier of high quality nutrition ingredients to FMCG and entrepreneurial food brand owners across the UK, Europe & internationally. We are a subsidiary of Ornua – the leading Irish international agri-food commercial co-operative.

We deliver sourcing, blending, packing & innovation excellence to our customers adding value to their supply chains. Our ambition is to increase our scale and capability across five key channels of dairy, bakery, cereals, sports nutrition and health & wellness. We do this through customised innovation, technology & strategic partnerships.

With our dairy background we have the expertise in sourcing dairy powders including skim milk, whey, WPC, Casein, Butter powder, Whole Milk along with sugar and cocoa. We also offer lower cost clean label replacers which deliver the same functionality of high value commodities.

£16m has been invested in our state of the art innovation, blending & packing facility in Leek, Staffordshire. The site is BRC Grade AA, Kosher, Organic, Halal and Informed Sport accredited. Our expertise is in blending homogeneity ensuring equal distribution of micro ingredients across the entire blend to ensure nutritional, flavour and colour specifications are achieved. We have both ribbon and tumble blending technology to help achieve this.

Blends are packed into a range of sizes from 1000kg, 25kg bags to retail pouches, tubs and composite cans.

Our specialist innovation team work closely with customers NPD, brand and production teams to formulate bespoke recipes. Working to strict IP & NDA agreements we provide functional, cost engineered or new innovation on nutrition, aroma, colour, flavour and texture. We don't own a brand – our innovation is for the benefit of our customers.
