Calltrade Carrier Services AG is a leading provider of international telecommunications services. Our subsidiary responsible for technical infrastructure maintains data centres and platforms in Zurich (Switzerland) and in other locations around the globe. The company has been managed and administered from our offices in Altendorf (Canton of Schwyz, Switzerland) since 2012
Our core competence lies in providing Voice termination services for telecommunications companies and service providers. Calltrade's customer base comprises fixed-line providers, mobile network operators and cable companies. With customers and suppliers on every continent, almost all of the world's top 20 international Voice carriers rely on our services
We have a long history: in 1996 we emerged in a newly liberalized market of telephony services under the name Callcom AG. In 1998 our market which had until that point been exclusively Swiss, moved to a global footing when publicly traded RSL COM became the company's principal shareholder. In 2001 the parent company went into administration but a management buyout secured its existence. Its internationalization was heralded by the change of its name to Calltrade Carrier Services AG
A2P (Application to Person) SMS volumes globally have increased rapidly in recent years. Calltrade has been approached many times by its partners and asked if we have A2P SMS in our portfolio. We have not - until now.
It gives Calltrade great pleasure to announce that we have launched a brand new division, its principal focus being A2P SMS – Calltrade Messaging Services (CMS). Success grown from many years of experience in Voice is being leveraged to develop CMS, working in conjunction with both existing partners active in the SMS domain and companies new to the Calltrade family. CMS looks forward very much to engaging with the A2P SMS industry and driving the expansion of the global A2P SMS market yet further
