Northeast Whitewater is your adventure destination with on-site wilderness camping with yurts and your jumping off point for Kennebec and Penobscot river whitewater rafting located in the heart of moose country. Our moose watching tours run in the morning and in the evening daily, centered around moose habitat. Choose from our group moose tours, or private moose safaris for the most intimate experience, offered by land or canoe, with our registered Maine guides. We offer daily whitewater rafting trips from mild to wild, ideal for families, children and the most adventurous spirits. Northeast Whitewater is known as the Moosehead Lake Area's "Things to Do", in addition to our daily whitewater rafting trips and moose watching tours, join us on a guided waterfall hike, ice cave excursion, bird watching tour, stand up paddleboarding trip, kayaking, canoeing and exploring the area's scenery and natural beauty, all the while adventuring with us! Full & half day guided adventure trips available for all ages and abilities. Snacks are provided on all half day trips, gourmet lunch on all full day trips and grilled riverside BBQ on all whitewater rafting trips. All guided trips and tours meet at Northeast Whitewater Lodge & Guide Service with all equipment, transportation, meals and guides ready to entertain you.
